Make thin, tender crepes with just pantry basics and fresh strawberries.
Ingredients: - 2 eggs - 1 cup milk - 2 tbsp sugar - 1 cup all-purpose flour - 100 g chocolate (dark or milk) - 1 cup sliced strawberries - Butter or oil for the pan
1. Whisk eggs, milk and sugar until combined. Gradually add flour and whisk until smooth and pourable; add 1–2 tbsp water if needed. 2. Heat a lightly buttered nonstick skillet over medium. Pour ~1/4 cup batter, tilt to spread thin. Cook 30–45s, flip and cook 20–30s. Repeat to make 6–8 crepes. 3. Melt chocolate (microwave in 20s bursts or double boiler). Spread or drizzle on each crepe, add sliced strawberries, fold or roll and serve warm.
Timing: 10 min prep, 15 min cooking. Serve with a dusting of powdered sugar or a dollop of whipped cream. For make-ahead, stack cooled crepes separated by parchment and refrigerate up to 24 hours; rewarm briefly in a skillet.
