- 200 g minced beef x4 packs (or total ~800 g) - 150 g streaky bacon x8 packs (total ~1.2 kg) - 150 g spinach (washed, chopped) - 100 g cheese block, grated x8 packs (total ~800 g) - 1 tsp dried oregano x8 packs (total ~8 tsp) - 1 tbsp olive oil x8 packs (total ~8 tbsp) - salt and black pepper to taste Note: Scale quantities to your pan size and appetite.
1) Heat oil in a large ovenproof skillet. 2) Fry bacon until crisp. 3) Add beef; season and brown, breaking up lumps. 4) Push to sides; wilt spinach. 5) Mix spinach with meat and bacon; adjust seasoning. 6) Sprinkle cheese over top. 7) Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) until cheese is melted and golden (8–10 min). 8) Rest briefly before serving.
- Use a skillet large enough to spread toppings in an even layer. - For extra richness, add a splash of cream or a pinch of nutmeg with the spinach. - Let the dish rest 5 minutes after baking to set the cheese pull.
